Cyber Essentials Certification

Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry supported scheme which helps your organisation protect itself against cyber-attacks and demonstrates your commitment to cyber security. Konnetix can help with ensuring procedures and policies are in place to pass the certification requirements.

The National Cyber Security Centre outlines Cyber Essentials as below:

“Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, Government backed scheme that will help you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.

Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re the digital equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked. Our advice is designed to prevent these attacks.”

There are two levels of certification that you can apply for: Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus.

Cyber Essentials

A self-assessment option giving you protection against a wide range of commonly found cyber-attacks. Important because vulnerability to simple attacks can identify your business as a target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cyber criminals.

Certification gives you peace of mind that your defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber-attacks simply because these targeted attacks are looking to exploit those which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.

Completing Cyber Essentials shows you how to address the basics and prevent the most common form of attack.

Cyber Essentials Plus

Cyber Essentials Plus still has the Cyber Essentials trademark simplicity of approach, with the protections you need to put in place being the same, but for Cyber Essentials Plus you will undergo a hands-on technical verification.

R H Logistics had the task of out sourcing our I.T infrastructure and needed to upgrade our server room and all its servers in one go due to running server 2003, we had experienced poor service from our last I.T staff, with this we found konnetix Ltd from the Microsoft business web site and started the process with them. WOW what a difference, over one weekend they had installed a whole new server room including new switches, servers, back up drives, cabinet, all new patch cables. and it all even looks great in the server room whereas normally it just looks like a whole pile of cables ours looks like a colourful array of cables all running in one direction just perfection!!highly recommended to any company if you want to forget your I.T infrastructure and concentrate on running your business

I have used the services of Konnetix Limited now for approximately 5 years to support my IT and more lately my telephony.
